Cherished moments, everlasting love

Welcome to a collection of personal memories, captured through photos and videos, that celebrate the life Ken and I  shared. Each image and clip tells a story of connection, bringing a sense of peace and hope to my journey.  I hope these glimpses into our past inspire you.

Moments of quiet joy

After many trips outside of Canada we did purchase an RV which was parked in Lancaster Park.  There we enjoyed many peaceful days together relaxing, playing our guitars, taking leisurely walks around the campsite and savoring the delicious BBQ meals that Ken loved to prepare for us.

Cooking and creating together

Ken had never cleaned out or carved a pumpkin in his life but one Halloween we were invited to our daughter's for a pumpkin carving.  We all dressed up in costumes.  After cleaning out the pumpkins, everyone decorated theirs by carving a face.  Even though it was Ken's very first attempt, his pumpkin was voted the winner of the competition.  We all had a wonderful time and it became a Halloween memory we would always cherish.

Adventures and new horizons

Here we were in Punt Cana with Cathy and Gilles.  Actually, we were also celebrating an anniversary.  The buffets were always filled with so many items to choose from.  The beach welcomed us every day.  We wished we could bring back some of the fantastic weather.  It was an anniversary we would always remember.

A Father, A Daughter, A Forever Song

In 2005 Ken was playing his guitar and singing Goodnight Irene with Cathy. Sitting by the fireplace they were sharing one of the many special moments they held so close. Together, they wrote another verse to this song they both loved, their words weaving memories that would last far beyond that day. In that quiet meaningful moment, she promised her father she would always remember him and that one day, she would sit by her fireplace and sing this song, keeping his spirit alive in every note.
