Our journey with Grieving Kindred Love

Now that you have gone through my website, I hope that what you have read here today has brought you some comfort and in some small way, helped you through your own grief.  I can tell you that, for me, grief has become my enemy.  But I am doing everything in my power to keep moving forward - not just for myself but for my Ken as well.  I know that moving does not mean leaving my Ken behind.  He will always be a part of me and the love we shared will always remain in my heart.  If sharing my memories, my experiences and the lessons I have learned through my grief can help even one person feel a little less alone, then everything I have shared here is worthwhile.

Be gentle with yourself.  Grief is a journey and we each have to find our own way through it.

About me and Ken

We were blessed with 62 amazing years of marriage filled with love that was truly unconditional.  Every single day we chose each other with kindness, patience and a deep devotion that never faded.  We supported one and other in everything we did and everything we dreamed of.  No matter what life brought, we stood side by side.  He was always there for me never once did he speak a hurtful word.  We shared so many joys together and travelled to so many beautiful places.  He loved cooking for me and I enjoyed sharing with him.  He taught me so much over the years not just in words but in the way we lived and loved.  I treasure every moment we shared.  I was his world and he was mine.

His passing has made my grief very difficult and what I have learned in these past months, I am ready to share with you and hope it can bring you peace during your grief or difficult moments.

What makes Grieving Kindred Love special and helpful to others is my direct experience with grief. This lived understanding allows me to offer genuine empathy and practical insights, creating a safe and supportive environment for everyone. My passion is to walk alongside you.  Give suggestions that helped me.

Connecting and supporting

I hope to connect with family and friends who are navigating their own grief journeys or difficult moments. I would like to help by offering a glimpse of my journey by sharing my stories that might help your healing process. Together, we can find strength and understanding.
