NEW JOURNEYS WILL BE SHARED IN A FEW DAYS

Treasured moments captured

When you have been together for 63 years, you collect a lifetime of journeys, adventures and special places that become treasured memories.

In this photo, we were in Punta Cana enjoying a wonderful week together.  Our days were spent relaxing on the beach, looking forward to our 4 o'clock drinks at the bar, and then heading to the buffet where there were so many delicious choices to enjoy.

We also loved exploring the area...visiting where cigars are made, walking through the rainforest, and learning about the lives of the people who call Punta Cana their home.

It was a trip we always remembered with great joy.  A special thank you to Cathy and Gilles for agreeing to return to Punta Cana with us and be our wonderful guides.  It made this vacation even more memorable and we were very grateful.

Our journey, your inspiration

Another memorable trip...or perhaps I should say one of the many unforgettable trips we took was to New York City.

We visited New York City 6 times and we were still talking about going back again before Ken passed.  One time we went with a group of friends, Ken's fishing buddies with the wives, but mostly just the 2 of us.  One of our most special visits was when we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary there.

New York truly is a wonderful place to visit.  They say it is the city that never sleeps and they are absolutely right.  There is always something to see, somewhere to explore and memories waiting to be made.

This photo says it all.  You can see how happy we both were and yes, Ken was always holding my hand.  That simple gesture made me feel loved and safe wherever we went.

This is another trip that stayed in our hearts for many, many years and one we talked about often.  The memories we made together will always be with me.

Reflect and feel peace

This memory is one of my favorite.  Ken and I are newlyweds here and this was a visit with my brother that was a magical moment for me.  Unfortunately, my brother had a short life and I am not the only one who missed him deeply.  Brian and Ken had become the best of friends.
