Here is a very special get together for Cathy's birthday celebration. We were asked to play a game answering questions about cats. Now Ken and were definitely dog people so imagine our surprise when we answered more questions correctly than the other guests. We won the prize and as you can see we looks on our faces, were pretty pleased with ourselves.
I would say we looked like the cat who swallowed the canary!

I left this photo because it is one of my favorite trips we took to Montreal
When you travel with Gail, you always have to be photo ready. And Ken was always ready to oblige. I think he actually liked being photographed. Here was another little road trip but this time we went in style. We took the VIA rail train to Montreal. We enjoyed sitting at the Montreal train station having a bite to eat and enjoyed just watching the people arrive and depart the station. Our hotel was walking distance so we could linger as long as we wanted. As we made our way to the hotel, we passed Ville Marie and it was sad to see that so many stores had closed their doors. We spent a few days doing some shopping on Ste. Catherine Street, at The Bay then enjoyed some fine cuisine at various restaurants.

This memory is one of my favorite. Ken and I are newlyweds here and this was a visit with my brother that was a magical moment for me. Unfortunately, my brother had a short life and I am not the only one who missed him deeply. Brian and Ken had become the best of friends.
